Don’t Get it Twisted!

I didn’t forget you!

I know, I know, it’s been a long time, and I haven’t called or texted, not even a Facebook message, but I promise that I haven’t forgotten about you.  The Nimble Doctor remains faithful to his patients, his framily (not a misspelling) and his training.  Just as important I remain faithful to you, the Nimble Army.  This reminds me, I’ve just received an update from the Nimble Treasury and to date we have raised, drum roll please…$980!  What!?  You guys are killing it!  I am one proud Ironman in training knowing that the Nimble faithful are SO anti-Cancer that they don’t even know it.  You all are putting your hard earned coin on the table and are making a difference.  The first $1,000 is always the hardest so it’s practically all downhill from here, and only $12,020 to go.  Be part of the Nimble Army by donating now.

OKCIC, so generous!

I typically don’t single out my donors because I appreciate all of them so much, but I just have to mention the staff at the Oklahoma City Indian Clinic.  Last week this group raised $230 in a single day to support the Nimble cause.  By donating $3 to wear jeans on  “Ironman Appreciation Day” and gobbling up ice cream treats at $2 a pop, their generosity and calories quickly added up.  Thanks again OKCIC, and don’t worry, just join Nimble on a couple of work outs and those ice cream calories will be gone before in no time!

So what else you got Nimble?  We want more content!  I get that a lot from people who seem to enjoy this blog, but much like public television and NPR, the quality material you receive is made possible by contribution from readers like you.  Oh, and if you don’t know by now, there is a little thing called Google Analytics that tells me pretty much who you are and how often you read my blog (and just happen to forget to contribute), just kidding…maybe.  Remember our cause… Don’t be Pro-Cancer!  Conquer Leukemia and Lymphoma!  Go Mitch Go!

Finally, I want to give everyone an opportunity to show their Team Oklahoma pride and sport some designer Nimble Gear all at once.  Wearing this throwback ringer-T will bring out the inner endurance athlete in all of us.  If cartilage crunching activities aren’t what you consider a fun day, just add skinny jeans with  a fedora and the hipster crowd will embrace you as one of their own.  “Don’t Get it Twisted” ringer-T’s can be had for $25, with all proceeds going to the Go Mitch Go Foundation.  And as an added bonus, if you live or work anywhere near Oklahoma City you can receive the following:  1) Luna and Nimble will personally deliver your gear.  2) You get to take a picture with Luna. 3) You get a matching color coated Go Mitch Go! power bracelet.  Feel free to contact me through this website’s Contact Tab or through the Facebook link at the top of the page.

Thanks for following along and until next time.   Please don’t forget to check out my donation page and remember what this journey is all about.
